Chinese Brush Painting Gallery

Here are some pictures of my paintings; I'm still learning (and expect to carry on doing so), but I'm quite pleased with some of the results along the way.

Chrysanthemums Chinese brush painting on fabric. This was painted on unsized, unmounted fabric, and was my first attempt at painting on fabric as opposed to paper, so I was pleased at how well it worked - especially the bee. (July 97)
Orchid Chinese brush painting on fabric. This time, the fabric was mounted first, which has the effect of sizing the fabric and reducing the spread of paint. This is one of my first attempts at using the outline method of painting.(Sep 97)
Orchid Chinese brush painting on silk. Again, the silk was mounted first; This produces a very nice surface to work on. I've tried to keep this as a fairly sparse picture, and I thinks it works reasonably well. (Sep 97).
